I just love shooting surprise proposals! Tammy has always been a huge fan of my work, and made sure her boyfriend (at the time) knew who I was. So when Mark contacted me to be apart of the surprise proposal I was so excited for them both! I love being there to capture such an important moment in a relationship. And Tammy was SO surprised!

The couple were celebrating their one year anniversary and had a list of things they wanted to do together. In fact, one of them was to do a couples shoot in Hollis Park! So Tammy thought it was just a regular couples shoot – and had no idea what was going on!

We walked around like a usual couples session, getting some fun portraits. Once we got in front of Lake Mirror at Hollis Garden, Mark dropped to one knee! Tammy was beyond surprised! Without delay, she started crying and couldn’t stop smiling! She couldn’t believe what happened. And I was there to capture it all!

After a few minutes of sweet cuddles, we continued to take pictures around the Lakeland area. We found a cute spot that had large trees, and some Spanish moss for romance. Tammy was still in shock the whole time, and couldn’t stop smiling and looking at her ring. So it made for such a fun couples shoot! It was the perfect day, and I’m so glad I got to capture it all!
