I had the most amazing adventure with the sweetest couple, Alisia and Rubin, during their engagement session at Gray Whale Cove State Beach in San Francisco, CA. Let me tell you all about it!

What do you wear to a beach engagement?

We started off with a few shots in a more casual setting, near these incredible trees on a hill that overlooked the beautiful ocean. The lighting was perfect, and Alisia and Rubin looked so relaxed and natural. Rubin definitely knows how to make Alisia laugh. Not only did their sweet laughter create beautiful, candid photos, it was such a sweet testament to their relationship. It was such a creative and authentic moment capturing their love in this unique location.

But the fun didn’t stop there! Next we decided to take a little adventure down to the shoreline, where Alisia and Rubin wanted a more formal look. Let me tell you, it was magical! They played in the sand, ran along the water’s edge, and even took a dip in the ocean. It was like something straight out of a movie, full of love, joy, and laughter.

I loved being able to capture these special moments for Alisia and Rubin. It’s always such an honor to be a part of a couple’s love story and to help create memories that they can cherish forever. In the spring, you might even be able to spot actual gray whales from the beach as they are migrating north! The beach itself is breathtaking, and the views are just unreal.
